Are you adventurous?
Do you like exploring new opportunities for learning that will improve your practice? Are you a faculty member passionate about reducing barriers and enhancing learner voices in your course? We warmly invite you to join the BCcampus Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Explorer Challenge.
What will you do?
A challenge involves doing one thing to embed one of the three principles of UDL in your course. Each challenge should take about 20 minutes, but it really depends on you. You can explore and complete all challenges at your own pace and at a time that works with your schedule.
Who is this for?
We invite all faculty who are interested in reducing barriers for students. Whether you are new to UDL or have long been implementing UDL in your course design, this is an opportunity to work with colleagues to explore, reflect, and share best practices.
Want to get ready for the journey?
If you are new to UDL, cast.org is a great place to start or watch UDL at a Glance for a brief overview of the three principles. Looking forward to learning with you and having some out-of-this-world discussions!
